Course for adults

General English courses are taught at 8 levels from beginners.

General English

Methodology
During the course, all language skills are developed with an emphasis on communication skills. Each level ends with obtaining a certificate, which is also a promotion to a higher level. The course program is unified with the Council of Europe TELC levels and allows students to join the above-mentioned levels. exam at the appropriate level.

Frequency of classes
Classes for adults are held in the following system:

  • standard: 1 x a week for 2 hours 45 minutes (65 hours per year)
  • intensive: 2 x a week for 2 hours 45 minutes (120 hours per year)
  • semi-intensive: 1 time a week for 3 hours 45 minutes (96 hours per year)

Qualification for the appropriate group
Qualification to the group with the appropriate level of advancement is based on a qualification test and an interview with the methodological director.

Teaching staff
All groups, except for the beginner, are taught by experienced English-speaking teachers from the United Kingdom, Ireland and the United States. All of them have higher education and qualifications to teach English as a foreign language. It is possible to choose a group in the tandem teaching system (the English-speaking teacher conducts classes alternately with the Polish teacher).

Conversations – Konwersacje

Conversation courses are intended for adults who want to refresh or develop their language skills in the field of spoken language in a short time, e.g. in connection with a trip abroad. They are conducted at 3 levels of advancement from the pre-intermediate level. They take place in the following system:

  • standard: 1 x a week for 2 hours 45 minutes (30/60 hours per year)
  • intensive: 2 x a week for 2 hours 45 minutes (60 / 120 hours per year)
  • semi-intensive: 1 time a week for 3 hours 45 minutes (42/84 hours per year)

The teachers are English-speaking teachers.
Business English classes are held at 3 levels: pre-intermediate, intermediate, upper-intermediate. Knowledge of general English at least at an intermediate level is required.

Classes for adults are held in the following system:

  • standard: 1 x a week for 2 hours 45 minutes (65 hours per year)
  • intensive: 2 x a week for 2 hours 45 minutes (120 hours per year)
  • semi-intensive: 1 time a week for 3 hours 45 minutes (96 hours per year)

There is a possibility of individual classes (one to one). In the case of organized groups, it is possible to arrange any date of classes.

Teaching staff
The teachers are English teachers with a specialization in “business language” and native speakers.
