International Baccalaureate
The IB Diploma program is a two-year course for students aged 16-19 that culminates in an international exam. The language of instruction is English, and students choose subjects from six subject groups. The International Baccalaureate develops critical thinking, self-reliance and openness to the world.

What is it like to study in the IB program?
Students choose 6 subjects (3 at the HL extended level and 3 at the SL basic level).
In addition, they implement the mandatory core of the program:

Theory of Knowledge (TOK): Developing Critical Thinking Skills.

Extended Essay (EE): Research paper (4,000 words).

Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS): Creativity, Activity, Volunteer Service.

What does the IB final exam look like?
The exam consists of two parts:
1. Internal Assessments (IA): oral exams and written assignments graded by teachers.
2. External Assessments (EA): examination papers marked by IB examiners (not a committee).
Students can earn a maximum of 45 points; diploma awarded from 24 points.
Who can join the IB program?
Students aged 16-19 who wish to pursue a two-year program culminating in the International Baccalaureate.
Will the IB diploma be recognized by Polish universities?
Yes, all Polish universities recognize the IB diploma, treating it as equivalent to the National Baccalaureate.
